MNS hits all the energy and inflection points to begin. There's nothing wrong with the Ramble On Rose with Brown-Eyed Women taking the clean up position.
...
We got a great first set before being treated with a tight 20 minute Scarlet-> Fire to end it.
Samson is timely and starts a great build up to the latest evidence of true primal Dead as TOO takes me to new paths. The soulful Stella into a GDTRFB, technical issues aside.
A spirited OMSN which I don't mind, Donna mixed well and under control, the bands playfulness seen as the alternative lyric US Blues ends the Friday-> Saturday night run.
And its not even 1/2 way through May!!
A full 18 months before I got on.
PS: if one can expand your mind enough to "get" it then one can see clear to forgiving the technical difficulty in a still developing era of sound engineering.

Like so many of the Spring Tour '77, this is another great show. Saturday night shows were never my favorites, but this one is simply smokingly hot. Enjoy!
